Zanzibar’s northern tip is barefoot beach living at its best. Some of the island’s top swimming beaches are found here because this stretch of coastline is the least affected by tidal variation. Zanzibar Watersports serves up a variety of relaxing and fun activities that can be tailored for couples and groups of different sizes.

The ‘seafari’: Our three seafaris are for those who want to experience all the amazing moments the island has to offer in just one day. On Mondays and Fridays, you can join our classic Zanzibar Seafari for snorkelling at Mnemba Atoll and a seafood barbeque on Muyuni Beach. On Wednesdays and Sundays, our Dolphin Seafari gives you the chance to swim alongside dolphins. Whale watching tours are also seasonally available.

Sunset dhow cruises: A gorgeous island tradition is ending each day on a traditional wooden dhow cruise in the Indian Ocean, sipping on your favourite drink as the sun sinks slowly below the horizon. Whether it is a romantic treat for you and your loved one or a relaxed outing with family or friends, there is simply no better way to welcome in the evening.

Catamaran charters: If you are in the mood for luxury ocean sailing, then you need to remember these three names – Pelagic, Fanotea and Sur. These are our pleasure yacht, 60-foot catamaran and refurbished traditional wooden dhow that are used for sunset cruises, half and full day activity-based charters, and live-aboard diving and fishing.

Big game fishing: The waters between Zanzibar and neighbouring Pemba Island offer excellent opportunities to reel in some truly impressive fish species. Blue, black and striped marlin, sailfish, swordfish, dorado and yellow fin tuna are seasonally available. Giant trevally, wahoo, king mackerel, barracuda and skip jack tuna call this area home throughout the year. We are ready to take you out on a big game fishing trip of a lifetime!
