The Legendary Mnemba Atoll Marine Reserve:-
Experience the most famous snorkelling destination in Zanzibar! The Mnemba Atoll is a world-renowned marine reserve teeming with diverse life. Get ready for an unforgettable day of exploration and sunbathing.
- What You’ll See: In the shallower areas, you can expect to spot Lionfish, Moray Eels, Stingrays, and beautiful Turtles. If you venture toward the drop-off, look for schools of Giant Trevally and Emperor Fish hunting, Yellow Snappers, Barracuda, and, if you’re lucky, the majestic Napoleon Fish.
- Timing: Depart at 09:15 from Kendwa. Return between 15:30–16:00 (depending on weather/wind).
- Refreshments & Lunch: A delicious vegetarian lunch is provided on board, consisting of a mild vegetable curry, rice, and salad. Drinking water and fresh fruit are also included.
- Total Time: We stay out for approximately six hours, giving you plenty of time to snorkel, relax, and work on your tan!
The Mystical Beauty of Tumbatu Island:-
Journey to the historically rich, picturesque Tumbatu Island to discover some of the most incredibly preserved shallow reefs you will ever see. These sites are truly mind-blowing, with reefs so close to the surface you feel like you can reach out and touch the action!
- What You’ll See: Prepare to be surrounded by literally thousands of fish, including rare gems like the Ribbon Eel, cute Whip Gobies, and countless other species that are hard to find elsewhere.
- The Journey: The trip itself is a scenic adventure! You’ll pass stunning coastline and a historic lighthouse over a hundred years old—perfect photo opportunities!
- Timing: Depart at 09:15 from Kendwa. Return to Kendwa Beach between 13:30–14:00.
- Refreshments: Drinking water and fresh fruit are provided.
Essential Preparations & What to Bring
To make your trip comfortable and worry-free, please remember the following:
- Sun Protection is Crucial: We spend significant time on the water. Bring and apply high-SPF, reef-safe sunscreen frequently. A hat and sunglasses are highly recommended.
- Towels & Clothing: Bring a towel and a cover-up or light shirt for the boat ride.
- Camera: A waterproof camera or phone case is ideal for capturing the amazing underwater sights!
- On-time Departure: All trips depart promptly at 09:15, so please arrive at the departure point 15 minutes prior.
